The State of New York

If you would like us to assist you with New York's different programs and help determine which ones you are eligible for, either e-mail us or call us Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. We also make referrals to doctors, other health care providers, agencies and organizations that have signed up with us.

Chose the mailing list that most suits your needs, or just sign up for the general mailing list. If you are a clinician or service provider who would like us to share specific information, or feel we should include, update or correct information about your organization, agency programs, research studies, services, or the eligibility guidelines for any resource you manage or offer let us know.

New York Unemployment Insurance - to apply for Unemployment Benefits
New York State Department of Health - official New York State Department of Health website
New York State County Directory - find the doctors, nurses and other health care providers and contacts in any county in New York State.
New York Medicaid - including Child Health Plus, Medicaid Managed Care, coverage for people with AIDS, and more. You need a Medicare Part D plan to get prescription drug coverage through Medicaid.
New York Medicare Part D - to get prescription drugs paid for through Medicaid and other programs you must have a Medicare Part D plan. You may have to pay a small Medicare copayment for each prescription. You have to join a Medicare Part D plan or you could lose all your New York State Medicaid benefits.

HIV/STD Resources

The Network 1-800-734-7104: provides HIV/AIDS counseling, support services and many different case management services in English and/or Español to people with HIV/AIDS in New York City regardless of income or insurance status.
ACCESS NYC - multilingual search for human service health benefits in NYC (Busqueda bilingue para beneficios en la ciudad de Nueva York)
OCHIA - various New York City Insurance Options
HIICAP Hot Line: 1-800-701-0501 provides counseling and info about insurance and entitlement options for the elderly and the disabled.

New York State HIV Services Website - includes Special Needs Programs (SNPs) that provide Medicaid Managed Care services, Child Health and Family Services, and more.
ADAP Program - New York State AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), HIV Uninsured Care Programs, APIC, Home Health Care. In New York State you can call toll-free at 1-800-542-2437, or out of state at 1-518-459-1641
