Care Networks and Care Providers :
New Jersey has HIV Care Network agencies and organizations that can either provide or refer you to a case manager or a health care provider. This is funded by the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act. The participating agencies are listed, as are some other resources.
- Accessing Treatments and other Resources : New Jersey has a list or formulary of drugs and other services they cover through ADAP and other programs. Other potential sources of treatments for people with HIV or Hepatitis are also listed.

Hepatitis Resources : New Jersey has statewide Hepatitis vaccination programs, and covers some treatments for hepatitis B and Hepatitis C through their program.
New Jersey ADAP - Both Genotypic and Phenotypic tests are covered. All drug makers must have a signed rebate agreement in order for the drug to be covered. New Jersey has an open formulary. All FDA approved drugs are covered with the following possible exclusions: Fertility Drugs, Cosmetic Drugs, Impotence drugs four treatments per year, Less than effective drugs, and Over the counter medications. Talk with your doctor or other New Jersey health care provider about what you need. There are many categories of treatments that are covered. These include Anti-Infectives, Cardiovasculars for lipids and blood pressure, CNS drugs (such as anticonvulsants, anti-depressants, anxiolytics, sedatives, hypnotics and substance abuse agents), Endocrine drugs (such as Serostim or Oxandrin for wasting, diabetes, bone loss and thyroid agents), Gastrointestinal drugs, Respiratory drugs, Urologicals, Topical agents and more.
Hepatitis Treatments and Vaccines

- PCP Prophylaxis and Treatment : clindamycin, dapsone, leucovorin, pentamidine, primaquine, sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine, trimethoprim, trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole
- Herpes Infections : acyclovir, penciclovir, valacyclovir

Assistance Programs - Free or reduced price medications are offered by individual drug companies, as well as other organizations and foundations. All prescription drugs, including generic drugs, are made by drug companies. Information includes: Who you should call or e-mail about getting treatments,and financial and medical eligibility criteria. Although they will not automatically cover "the doughnut hole" or co-pays if you have Medicare Part D, some program are willing to make arrangements and even check out any benefits for which you are eligible.
