HIV Services and Programs

Eligibility

Applicants must be diagnosised with HIV or AIDS. There are income limits. Emergency one time ADAP for drugs not on the formulary.
  • For people with no insurance coverage: People with an income below 500% of the Federal Poverty Level get medications at no cost
  • For people above 500%, the co-pay is 50% of the cost (up to 10% of income)
  • For people with health insurance but no pharmaceutical coverage: income must be at or below 300% to get medication at no cost
  • People who have income between 201%-400% must pay 10% of medication costs (up to 10% of income)
  • People with an income over 400% pay 50% of the medication cost (up to 10% of income)
