The Network has merged into Housing Works' newly created Access to Care department. We will continue to provide comprehensive information on access to medical treatment for people living with HIV and hepatitis C across the United States through e-access to care, linking people directly to care both on-line and through one of two national toll-free numbers. Primary care referrals to Housing Works comprehensive clinical services are also provided to New York City residents through the same phone and e-mail contacts. Accessing medications that you need can be difficult, but there are often programs such as Patient Assistance Programs, or state and/or federally funded ADAPs (for HIV and some hepatitis medications), or medication co-payment assistance programs that can help. There are also entitlement programs such as Medicaid and Medicare that we can get you quick or extensive case management services to readily access what you need. E-mail e-access to care at accessrequest@atdn.org and let us know if you have any kind of insurance and what kind if you do, your state and zip code, and a way to respond to your questions. Or call one of our toll-free numbers. In addition to the Patient Assistance Programs listed here, there are programs to assist you in paying the co-payments for your medications for HIV. Make sure to include your e-mail address and a phone number if you like. Any information you share with us is confidential. 1-877-296-9264 • 1-800-734-7104 |
